The Bible is a story of kings, those who should be kings, and those who think they should be kings. In this intriguing chapter of 2 Samuel, we will see examples of both. First we have David, who should be king and acts like a king. Then there is another bloke who shouldn’t be king, tries to act like one, but gets it all wrong anyway.

Ultimately, the goal is to find a great king, not just a good king, and even a chapter like this can lead us to Jesus.
