What is the difference between a happy tree and an unhappy tree? We can’t ask a tree to give us the answer, but you probably have an answer yourself. In Psalm 1:3-4 we see a healthy tree compared with chaff – a tree that is full of life compared with chaff that is completely lifeless. Why a tree? Because the one who meditates on the law of the Lord is like that tree.
