It’s Christmas day and our focus is on the birth of Jesus Christ – a truly unforgettable moment in Mary’s life, and a central moment in history. It is an essential part of Mary’s Unusual Story and it would be a mistake for any of us to think this is the end of the story. It most certainly isn’t.
If you are looking for Jesus, you won’t find him in the manger now. But, as the song says, “Where meek souls will receive him still, the dear Christ enters in.” We hope you will be encouraged as you hear this sermon today.
