Everybody wants to be free. Everybody wants to be able to make choices on their own terms. Fair enough too. But in having the freedom to make those choices, we also get to enjoy the consequences that come along. And sometimes the consequences make those choices look rather awful. So where do we find freedom in which we are truly free? The Bible points us to Jesus as the source, the hope, and the basis of any freedom we could hope to have. So at Heathmont Presbyterian Church, we will always aim to point people to Jesus as the only real hope in the world. Today we open the book of Romans in the New Testament and we will hear a summary of the history of humanity’s connection with God, and the way God has restored the broken relationship. It is a story worth hearing, and a story you are a part of.
