Plan a Visit

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve racking. We want to help make your first experience at Heathmont Presbyterian Church a great one.

You can find us at 6 Waterloo St, Heathmont. Really, it’s on the corner of Canterbury Road and Waterloo Street. Drive in, park your car, and wander in. There will be someone at the front door to welcome you.

We meet together here for our time of worship and celebration which begins at 10.00am. There will be people arriving well before that, so come in grab a seat anytime.

In total, a HPC gathering is about 75 minutes in length. These gatherings begin with the HPC music team leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship, however you feel comfortable. We often stand when we sing together. Later in the service, someone will pray, there will be a reading from the Bible, and our pastor will share a message that will help to see why we think Jesus is good news for you and our community.

We believe that kids should enjoy being at church. At Heathmont Presbyterian we make this a priority. The other things we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, all our leaders have been trained through the Presbyterian Church’s Safe Church Unit and have a Working with Children Check.

At Heathmont Presbyterian, we want the children to be a part of our whole community in worship. There is a basket near the door with a clipboard containing some activities the children can do during the worship service.

At this time, we don’t have a separate children’s ministry. Who knows what the future holds though?

We’d love to you join us on a Sunday morning. If you would like to fill in these details, we will be ready to welcome you as you arrive.
