Safe Church

Here at Heathmont Presbyterian Church (HPC), we desire to make our space a safe space for children to come to. Volunteers have been through the Presbyterian Church of Victoria (PCV) Safe Church Volunteer Approval Process. This is, in part, a screening process to ensure those working with children at HPC are safe to do so.

All staff and volunteers have a current Working With Children Check.

All those involved in an area of ministry directed to children have attended a Basic Training session hosted by the Safe Church Unit of the PCV.

Our Elders, and some volunteers, have also attended an Advanced Training session hosted by the Safe Church Unit of the PCV.

You are welcome to read the Safe Church Policy and the Safe Church Code of Conduct.
