We must keep in mind that no part of the Bible truly stands alone. Some statements make sense on their own. Some verses or chapters can guide us on certain issues. But even then, those statements need the context of all that is around to help us fully understand it. As we hear some of the words of Jesus today, we must not separate them from what comes before and after them. To do so will put us in danger of getting lost.
So, we aim to help each other to stay on track, even when it gets difficult, to ensure we all reach the right end.
