The western world makes a lot of fuss about December 25. We need to get all our shopping done before then. We travel home for that date. Builders dread to hear the phrase, “”I’d like it finished before Christmas.”” Why do we do this? Why is there such a focus on a date? You might be surprised to know that while the Bible speaks about the birth of Jesus, there is no reference to a specific date. However, that doesn’t take away any of the special focus on this date. Don’t take it too far though, because Christmas is much more than just a date.

This is our Christmas service in 2020.

The pictures come from The Jesus Storybook Bible, written by Sally Lloyd-Jones and illustrated magnificently by Jago.
