You might think that being a follower of Jesus means you end up living a boring life. And you might know some Christians that seem to confirm that view. But the way Jesus speaks about what life will be like for those who follow him, and the examples given in this section of Matthew’s gospel, show that it is anything but a boring life. If you want a boring life, do something else.
