The day has almost arrived. After months of waiting, and probably some months of worrying, the day has almost arrived. After the long journey – walk – from Nazareth to Bethlehem, it is time; time for the hopes and fears of Joseph and Mary to come together in the birth of their child. As we will learn today, it wasn’t just Joseph and Mary who found reason to celebrate.
