We live in a very divided age. You probably know this already. People seem to have forgotten that we can disagree on some matters and still be friends; people can be friends with someone who votes differently, watches Marvel instead of DC, or even barracks for a different football team.
The story of the Bible is a story of relationships being restored. Primarily, it is the story of the relationship between God and humanity being restored. Along the way, we will read of other relationships being tested, broken, and some being restored.
Today we will learn about the way that David has worked to unite the kingdom, and his first act might be something that surprises us. Even so, we will see the way David acts is a reflection of the way Jesus acts.
