Do you really want to move mountains? – Matthew 17:14-20

Some of the mountains that we want to move probably aren’t made of rock and dirt. In this Bible story, we see a man who needs to move the mountain of his son’s poor health. He can’t do it on his own, and the disciples of Jesus aren’t able to do this either, but Jesus can. In his desperate need he comes to Jesus saying, “Lord, have mercy”.

It’s a good prayer. It’s a mustard-seed sized prayer.

And it moved his mountain.
