You might not know everything that everyone else does about everything, but we’re confident that you understand the struggle with temptation – that desire of wanting to do what you know you should not do.

Where does it come from? Why does it happen? Perhaps more importantly, what do we do with it?

The part of the gospel of Matthew we read today, and the reading from Genesis, will help us see that dealing with temptation really is as old as humanity itself, and that this happens to the very best of God’s people.

And if it happens to the best of God’s people, we shouldn’t be surprised if it happens to us too.

Are you tired of temptation? Then we’re glad you are here because we are too.

Matthew 4:1-11
