Jesus must have been very patient with his disciples. Their actions occasionally leave us wondering if they were listening, and this story is probably the strongest one. Two of the disciples seem to have made themselves blind to all that Jesus is doing and ask him to make them the most important in his kingdom. This request is not granted. In contrast, two blind men who have had nothing to do with Jesus call out to him and they are healed. And they followed him. Which makes us wonder, is it worse to be able to see but still be blind? www.heathmontpc.org.au
