Samuel is now an old man, but he has lost nothing of his love for God. He takes the opportunity to show the people that God has always been faithful to his people, providing the leaders that they needed when they cried out for help.
But it’s not about leaders. God has provided saviours for his people. Ultimately, the greatest and only Saviour is Jesus. All these guys do is point to Jesus.
